Paws Facilities

Paws charity runs the Municipal Veterinary Clinic since the clinic received its license in 2013. The clinic is located on the main road from Gaios to Lakka village, within the village of Magazia, almost opposite the fire station and it is hosted within the yard of the old Magazia elementary schoolhouse.

Our charity has equipped the surgery with a surgical table, oxygen and autoclave machine, a microscope and scales. Surgical tool sets, drapes, different size cages, traps, crash cages, stainless steel treatment cages, a washing machine and dryer are among the equipment that PAWS has made sure that our vet and volunteers teams have in hand.

Apart from the surgery, there is also a preparation room and a reception desk plus a wooden shed, which is used as a recovery room for cats and as a shelter for kittens groomed for adoption or release, in cases where a home cannot be found.

The garden provides enough space for a separate fenced area with 4 large dog kennels, where stray dogs can be hosted.
