Paxos Animals

PAWS organizes adoption of stray or abandoned animals trying to achieve the best possible matching between the animals and the potential “parent”.

Our fostering team is essential especially since there is no animal shelter on Paxos. Creating a foster families network helps decompress PAWS clinic when there are many cases of animals to be homed, long term patients, etc. A foster home offers quicker house training to animals that are up for adoption, helps heal any trauma they might be suffering from due to abandonment or abuse. allows calmer, stress-free living conditions to the animals.
